Restaurant chain permanently closes in Roseville. It was last one in Sacramento region

A closed restaurant

Claim Jumper has permanently closed its restaurant in Roseville.

The Harding Boulevard site was the restaurant chain’s last remaining location in the Sacramento area. The Claim Jumper website lists the Roseville location as permanently closed. It’s unclear when it was last open, but users on social media and Yelp began posting about the closure in late December.

The chain’s downtown Sacramento location, at 11th and J streets, closed in 2021, according to its Facebook page. The Roseville location did not have a Facebook page.

Claim Jumper serves traditional American “surf-and-turf” cuisine, including steak, seafood and burgers.

Locations in Santa Clarita and in Reno, Nevada, also closed abruptly in October and September, respectively, according to local media reports. The chain’s main account on Facebook made no mention of the recent closures.

Other locations in Southern California remain open. The Houston-headquartered chain also has locations in Arizona, Illinois, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
