Kick off the weekend right with a late-night comedy show Friday and then set your alarm clock to join the Sacramento LGBT Community Center in the National Trans Visibility March. But whatever you do, grab your tickets now for the Sacramento Kings Hoop Fest Saturday at the Golden 1 Center.

Friday

Join the Getaway Show at Sacramento Comedy as comedians tell their best jokes. The 21-and-over show is at 7:30 p.m. and the late show will kick off at 10 p.m.

Saturday
Join the National Trans Visibility March.
211 O Street, Sacramento.
The National Trans Visibility March, which is traditionally held in Washington, D.C., has chosen the Sacramento LGBT Community Center as the lead collaborator on the West Coast for the 2021 NTVM. The march, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Crocker Park, will be the only NTVM on the West Coast.
Cost: Free.
Grab a taco at the Roseville Taco and Margarita Fest.

Enjoy food and drink Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m at the Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville .
Cost: $18-$75.
Score a book at the Great Read Book Faire.
8230 Civic Center Drive, Elk Grove.
The Elk Grove Arts Commission presents the Great Read Book Faire to celebrate the area’s literary community with books and authors at District56 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: Free.
Spend the afternoon at the Golden 1 Center.
Grab a friend and sign up for Hoop Fest, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Players will compete in a single-game elimination tournament with a chance to play the championship game on the court of Golden 1 Center.
Then join new and returning players of the Sacramento Kings in action as they prepare for the next season at the Golden 1 Center. Enjoy all the Fan Fest has to offer, including an open practice with players and coaches, contests, giveaways and more.

Sunday
Enjoy an afternoon of classical music.

Enjoy a concert outside in the Pence Gallery courtyard, about 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento, and listen to the world premiere of a composition by Ryan Suleiman for solo viola, performed by Kurt Rohde.
Also listen to the chamber ensemble of Julie Hockman, William Barbini and Kineko Okumora as it performs a series of classical chamber works. The concert is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m within the outdoor courtyard of the Pence Gallery.
Donations are encouraged.
