Journey is coming to Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center. Here’s how to get tickets early

Journey — known for hits “Don’t stop believin’” and “Any way you want it” — is the latest addition to the Sacramento music scene’s stacked 2021-2022 lineup.

The rock band’s show will follow acts like Foo Fighters in December and megastar Billie Eilish in March at the Golden 1 Center.

Journey, set to release its new album “Freedom” in 2022, will perform at the downtown Golden 1 Center on April 1.

The tour features special guest Billy Idol, according to a Monday announcement.

Tickets go out for presale Tuesday, according to Ticketmaster. Presale is available only to Citi Card members through Thursday at 10 a.m. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
