Willie Nelson and other popular artists are coming to the Central Valley. How to get tickets
Country artist Willie Nelson will be making a stop in the Central Valley in October, extending his tour with Outlaw Music Festival to the West Coast.
The 89-year-old Texas music legend will be performing at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on Oct. 15.
Blackbird Presents recently extended tour dates for the annual festival, which kicked off in June. Additional new dates for the festival are Oct. 14 and 16 in Mountain View and Irvine, respectively.
Along with Nelson, the West Coast shows will feature performances from The Avett Brothers, Larkin Poe and Particle Kid. Artist line up differs per city, and the festival’s 22-stop tour include headliners like Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan and Charley Crockett.
Nelson’s latest album, “A Beautiful Time” was released in April 2022 on his 89th birthday, which includes original songs and covers of the Beatles and Leonard Cohen.
Tickets for the new tour dates went on sale Wednesday at outlawmusicfestival.com/presale, with prices starting at $49.
Craft vendors will be selling goods at Outlaw Village, which will be touring alongside the music festival.
