Comedian Shane Gillis is bringing his live comedy show to Sacramento as part of a 39-city tour this fall.

As part of his Shane Gillis: Live tour, the podcaster, actor and writer will perform at Golden 1 Center, 500 David J Stern Walk, in downtown Sacramento on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Who is Shane Gillis?

Gillis is a comedian, actor, podcaster and writer originally from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

He earned his big break in 2021, releasing his self-funded debut special “Shane Gillis: Live in Austin,” which amassed over 40 million views.

He followed that success with co-producing his Netflix special called “Beautiful Dogs” in 2023. His standup Netflix special landed in the Netflix Top 10 in five countries and spent two weeks in the U.S. Top 10 list.

Gillis is also responsible for Netflix comedy show, “Tires,” which he co-produces and stars in. The series was recently renewed for a third season.

He also recently hosted the ESPY awards, serving as emcee for the annual event that honors top individual and team performances in American sports. The ceremony combined athletic recognition with humor as he entertained the audience through comedic segments and light-hearted commentary.
