National Burrito Day: Get Deals at Chipotle, Qdoba, Torchy's Tacos and More
With National Burrito Day falling on Thursday, April 2, restaurant chains across the country are rolling out one‑day‑only deals, freebies and rewards‑member perks to celebrate one of America's favorite meals.
From buy‑one‑get‑one (BOGO) burritos to free guacamole and discounted breakfast options, Newsweek compiled a chain‑by‑chain look at confirmed National Burrito Day deals this year.
Qdoba
Qdoba is once again offering its popular "Burrito Insurance" promotion.
On April 2, Qdoba Rewards members can get a free burrito or bowl with the purchase of any entrée and a drink. The offer is valid in‑restaurant and online for one day only and excludes quesadillas. The reward will be automatically loaded into eligible members' accounts on National Burrito Day.
Moe's Southwest Grill
Moe's is offering a BOGO free burrito or bowl deal on National Burrito Day.
The promotion is available in‑store without a rewards account, while online and app orders require Moe Rewards membership. The free item applies to the lower‑priced entrée.
Torchy's Tacos
Torchy's Tacos has confirmed a $5 Breakfast Burrito deal for Thursday, April 2.
The offer is available in‑restaurant only until 2 p.m. The breakfast burrito includes cage‑free eggs, refried pinto beans, crispy potatoes, chorizo, green chile queso and mixed cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla and served with roja salsa and tomatillo sauce. The chain says the burrito delivers 49 grams of protein.
Farmer Boys
Farmer Boys is joining the celebration with a one‑day breakfast burrito deal for rewards members.
On April 2, Very Important Farmer (VIF) Rewards members can get BOGO 50 percent off any breakfast burrito, available exclusively through the Farmer Boys app.
Tocaya
Tocaya is leaning into guacamole for National Burrito Day.
On April 2, Tocaya Rewards members can receive a free side of chips and guacamole with the purchase of any burrito at participating locations.
Baja Fresh
Baja Fresh is offering $5 chicken burritos on National Burrito Day.
The deal is valid in‑store only, with a limit of one per person. Rewards members who make a purchase on April 2 will also receive a $5 off $20 offer loaded into their accounts for a future visit.
Bubbakoo's Burritos
Bubbakoo's Burritos is running a BOGO free burrito promotion for rewards members.
The deal is available April 1–2 when ordering online or through the app using the promo code BURRITODAY.
Chipotle
Historically, Chipotle has allowed customers to participate in the Burrito Vault game, which launched in 2024 and has returned with bigger rewards. Through National Burrito Day, Chipotle Rewards members were able to visit UnlockBurritoDay.com to play a code-breaking game.
If you are the first person to solve the code each hour, you win “Burritos for a Year.” However, in the past, up to 2,500 others could receive BOGO codes that can be used via the app or in stores.
