Dianna Russini's Old Social Media Posts Resurface Amid Mike Vrabel Controversy
More old posts from Dianna Russini have surfaced amid the controversy with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
Last week, Russini resigned from her NFL insider position at The Athletic after photos surfaced of her and Vrabel hanging out at the adults-only Ambiente hotel in Sedona, Arizona.
The photos, taken on March 28, showed Russini and the two-time NFL Coach of the Year hugging and embracing. The images sparked immense backlash, as Russini and Vrabel are both married with kids.
This controversy took another turn on Thursday, with Page Six publishing more photos of the pair kissing at a New York City bar in 2020.
After these images surfaced, fans on X/Twitter dug up some of Russini's old posts about the name "Michael", which happens to be the name of one of her kids:
Russini and her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, married in 2020. Their two sons are Michael and Joey. Vrabel tied the knot with his wife, Jen, in 1999. They have two sons, Tyler and Carter.
Mike Vrabel Will Seek Counseling
On Wednesday night, Vrabel announced that he would seek counseling and miss day three of the 2026 NFL Draft, per ESPN's Mike Reiss. This came one day after Vrabel addressed the media and said he held "difficult conversations" with his family and the Patriots organization.
New England holds 11 draft selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, starting with the No. 31 pick on Thursday night. They're coming off a surprise 14-3 season and a trip to Super Bowl 60, a lopsided 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Vrabel was previously head coach of the Tennessee Titans from 2018 to 2023. He won his first Coach of the Year Award in 2021 after leading them to the AFC's top seed with a 12-5 record.
