Attending the Lions-Bills Week 2 Game Will Cost You One Month's Rent
Attending the NFL's most expensive game of 2026 will cost fans about the same price as a monthly car payment or one month's rent, depending on where they're sitting.
On Thursday, the NFL released the full 2026 regular season schedule. The New England Patriots will visit the Seattle Seahawks in the Kickoff Game on Sept. 9, a rematch of Super Bowl 60.
The following day, the Los Angeles Rams will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, the NFL's first game in Australia. The trio of Thanksgiving games is: Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys, and Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills.
As for the NFL's most expensive ticket of 2026? That would be the Detroit Lions-Buffalo Bills Week 2 clash on Thursday Night Football. According to Gametime (via Yahoo Sports), the median price is $1,230.
Not only is it a potential Super Bowl preview in prime time, but this will be Buffalo's first game at the new Highmark Stadium.

According to RentCafe, the average monthly rent for an apartment in the United States is $1,750. So, unless you want to pay for "cheaper" tickets in the upper bowl, be ready to give up what would cost about one month's rent to attend the Bills-Lions game.
Bills vs. Lions Could Face Off in Super Bowl 61
When the Bills and Lions last met in the 2024 season, Josh Allen and Jared Goff combined for 856 passing yards and nine total touchdowns. The Bills narrowly escaped Ford Field with a 48-42 victory.
The Bills have made the postseason in seven straight years. Detroit narrowly missed out last season in a year derailed by injuries to key players. But if Dan Campbell's group stays healthy, Detroit will certainly be in the mix for the Super Bowl.
Should both clubs play up to their usual standards in 2026, they could very well clash again in Super Bowl 61.
