The Week Ahead: Fuchsia show features fancy flowers

73rd annual Sacramento Fuchsia show and sale

Where: Shepard Garden and Arts Center, 3330 McKinley Blvd., Sacramento

Hosted by the Sacramento branch of the American Fuchsia Society, this popular show features graceful hanging fuchsias as well as blooms from upright shrubs. Dozens of unusual varieties will be offered for sale, but arrive early; plants often sell out by noon.
