Green Acres chain opens Rocklin nursery
The Sacramento-based, family-owned chain Green Acres Nursery & Supply opened its new Rocklin nursery late Wednesday, three weeks ahead of schedule.
The nursery is at 5436 Crossings Drive just off Interstate 80 at Sierra College Boulevard.
This marks the fifth nursery opened by the chain since 2003. With 55 employees, the Rocklin location includes an 11,000-square-foot main greenhouse, a 23,000-square-foot lath house and a 1,400-square-foot houseplant greenhouse.
The nursery is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
