30th annual Curtis Park Home and Garden Tour

This popular tour features seven homes in the Curtis Park neighborhood. In addition, a free community festival will be held at the north end of William Curtis Park, Donner Way and 26th Street, Sacramento, featuring live music, vendors, antique cars, artists, food trucks and more.
Old garden roses class

Docents from the cemetery’s famous Historic Rose Garden will conduct this free workshop to explain the different types of old garden roses and their history, followed by a walk through the garden to see them in bloom.

Here’s your opportunity to see this private 1-acre woodland garden, named 2015 “Outstanding Private Garden” by the California Garden Clubs Inc. A Certified National Wildlife Habitat, the garden features Japanese maples, ferns, dogwoods, native plants, fountains, ponds and a natural creek under a canopy of oaks. Wear sturdy shoes for hillside paths.
