Sunset’s famous Celebration Weekend has moved along with its headquarters. Hear dozens of experts during this garden- and food-centric extravaganza. See Sunset’s new quarter-acre Test Garden and its distinct (and beautiful) garden rooms.

Sacramento Geranium Show and sale

Where: Shepard Garden and Arts Center, 3330 McKinley Blvd., Sacramento

When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 14

Hosted by the Sacramento Geranium Club, this large show features dozens of drought-tolerant geraniums and their cousins in bloom. Take some home, too. The club is offering many kinds including Martha Washington, regal, ivy, pansy face, scented, fancy leaf, stellar and zonal varieties.

18th annual Land Park Garden Tour & Tea

Where: Start at Holy Spirit School, 3920 W. Land Park Drive, Sacramento

When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 15

Admission: $25; $40 tour and tea

This self-guided walking tour features seven private gardens in the Land Park neighborhood. Also, enjoy a traditional English tea luncheon served at one of the featured homes. Proceeds benefit programs at Holy Spirit School.
