She is a little shy but warms up once she gets to know you. She loves having her ears rubbed and has already been spayed and even micro-chipped! She is litter boxed trained, calm, and friendly. Bunnies are good pets for kids who are older (more than 9 years old) and who will take them out to hold and play with everyday. Bunnies get nervous around people if not interacted with at least every couple of days. They need to be part of your family just like any other pet. Adoption fee: $45.00

Meet Sweetie. She’s a year-old Dutch rabbit who has been at the Sacramento SPCA since March 7.

Sweetie lives up to her name. She’s a little shy but warms up quickly. She loves having her ears rubbed and has been spayed and microchipped, is litter box-trained, calm and friendly.

Bunnies are good pets for kids who are more than 9 years old and will take them out to hold and play with every day. Bunnies get nervous around people if they are not interacted with regularly.

Sweetie’s adoption fee is $45. Come see her at the SPCA, 6201 Florin Perkins Road, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, or www.sspca.org.
