At the SPCA: Marley the guinea pig

Meet Marley. He’s a 2-year-old smooth coat guinea pig who just arrived at the Sacramento SPCA.

Marley is a wonderful guinea pig, and guinea pigs make great pets, especially for young kids. They are easy to handle, don’t bite and have plenty of personality.

They are sensitive to the heat, so it is best to keep them indoors, where they can be protected.

Marley loves to be held and chatters up a storm when he is happy, which is most of the time. He likes a good ear rub and relaxing on your chest.

Marley’s adoption fee is $25. Come visit him at the SPCA, 6201 Florin Perkins Road, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday or visit www.sspca.org.
