Big-name R&B singer and country artist join California State Fair lineup for 2023

Big names are getting tacked onto the list of headliners for the California State Fair’s 2023 Toyota Concert Series.

R&B artist Ginuwine and Grammy award-winning country singer LeAnne Rimes will take the stage this summer, organizers announced in a media release Monday.

This comes after the Fitz and the Tantrums was confirmed to perform at the fair last week.

The fair runs from July 14 to July 30 at Cal Expo. The concerts are free with fair admission.

Ginuwine, who’s known for hits “Differences” and “Pony,” will be headlining Tuesday, July 18. Rimes will be performing the next night, Wednesday, July 19. Rimes recently released her single “Spaceship” late March.

Who else is coming?

So far, other confirmed artists are Fitz and the Tantrums who will be playing Friday, July 14.

American Idol winner Scott McCreery is headlining Thursday, July 20 and rock band Gin Blossoms will play on Friday, July 28.

Advanced tickets for the fair are available online.

Early bird prices will run until July 13 with prices set at $14 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for children 5 to 12 years old.

General admission, which starts July 14, starts at $16 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for children 5 to 12 years old.

Children under 5 enter free.
