Who has the best pizza in the Sacramento area? Vote in round 2 of our bracket

Last week, The Bee published a pizza poll with 16 options for you to vote on your favorite eight spots in the Sacramento area.

And with close to 700 responses, it’s time to move on to round two of “Pizza Madness.”

The Bee took the top eight pizza spots ranked in round one to create this round’s group of contenders: Giovanni’s Old World New York Pizza (529 votes), Zelda’s Original Gourmet Pizza (505 votes), Luigi’s Pizza Parlor (435 votes), OneSpeed Pizza (430 votes), Roma II Pizzeria (423 votes), Masullo Pizza (403 votes), Old Town Pizza (322 votes) and Buffalo Pizza & Ice Cream Co. (301 votes).

In round two, choose four of the eight shops listed above you think should move on to round three. And with each round, the pool becomes smaller until there are two pizza shops left to battle for the No. 1 spot.

So Sacramento, which four pizza shops deserve to move on to the next round? Only one vote per person. The poll closes at noon on Friday, April 8. Remember: This poll is not scientific — it’s for fun!
