This midtown Sacramento poke restaurant quietly closed its doors last week

A closed restaurant

Less than a year after its move to midtown’s Handle District, Delilah’s Hawaiian Poke Market closed its doors.

Delilah’s Hawaiian Poke Market, previously launched in downtown Davis, didn’t announce its sudden closure on either its website or Instagram page. Instead, the news was typed on a slip of paper and taped from the inside of the dark restaurant.

The message was short: “Thank you to all our patrons for the support!”

The Hawaiian poke spot, also known as Delilah’s Market Cafe, permanently shut its doors on Feb. 10.

Delilah’s Market Cafe closed in midtown

Delilah’s Market Cafe served the Handle District in midtown. Here’s where:

Address: 1801 L St.

Reasons for the closure are unknown and The Bee’s call to the restaurant wasn’t immediately returned.

Delilah’s most popular dishes were the “OG Sashimi” and “Ouuu-nagi” for $14.95 each and “Spam Musubi,” for $3.50, according to its website.

The “OG Sashimi,” served in a burrito or sushi bowl, came packed with ingredients like tuna, salmon, shrimp, avocado, green onions and cucumbers.

Menu items ranged from varieties of musubi, steamed rice wrapped in nori seaweed, for up to $5 to a poke family pack for $44.95. Nachos and sushi burritos were regularly highlighted on Delilah’s Instagram page.
