Hawaiian chain opens another Sacramento location. Here’s where and what’s on the menu
Natomas welcomed an L&L Hawaiian Barbecue location at the end of February.
The franchise restaurant was founded in 1952, in Hawaii, and expanded to California in 1999. It has several locations across the Sacramento area — including in Roseville, Arden Arcade and Elk Grove.
It’s popular for its traditional Hawaiian comfort-style food like chicken katsu, kalua pork with cabbage and loco moco.
The franchise has restaurants in 11 states throughout the U.S., and in Japan. The new location had its grand opening on Feb. 26 at 3291 Truxel Rd.
Prices: Plates generally range from $9 to $14. The most expensive item on the menu is the pork lau lau & bbq for $16.50.
Hours: L&L is open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Natomas.
The Bee contacted L&L and a representative wasn’t immediately available for comment.
