These Sacramento-area pizzerias are among top spots to watch in 2024, Pizza Today says
Two Sacramento-area pizzerias are among the top 35 spots across the country to watch in 2024, according to Pizza Today.
The industry publication came up with the list, released just in the time for just in time for National Pizza Day on Friday, after asking owners to submit their businesses for consideration.
“Our Pizzerias to Watch feature looks at the total operation, from sales and employee programs to community outreach and marketing,” Pizza Today said.
One of the Northern California pizzerias included on the list was Go 4 Pizza, 4036 Sunrise Blvd., Suite 100, in Rancho Cordova.
The business, which opened in 2009, said it supports local schools and sports teams.
“We are more than a pizzeria. We are the center of our communities!” Go 4 Pizza told Pizza Today. “We do tap takeovers, live music, trivia every week, paint night, corn hole tournaments and comedy nights and other special events!”
Old Town Pizza, 510 High St. in Auburn, also landed on Pizza Today’s list.
The restaurant chain, which will turn 25 years old in July, also has locations in Roseville and Lincoln.
Pizza Today also listed new pizza spots that are on its radar, including Stellenzo’s Pizza in Santa Clarita and Truly Pizza in Dana Point.
