Photos: Sacramento foodies bask in region’s bounty at 2025 Tower Bridge Dinner
The Tower Bridge once again became Sacramento’s largest and most unlikely dining destination Sunday night, hosting the Tower Bridge dinner to celebrate the state’s farm-to-fork offerings.
Chefs N’Gina Guyton of Jim-Denny’s, Bucky Bray of Nixtaco, Jeana Marie Pecha of Omakase Por Favor and Devin Dedier of Vacanza Romana created the three-course menu — down from five courses in previous years — honoring California’s ingredients and cultures.
In past years, the dinner was been connected to a street festival on Capitol Mall, but that event has been discontinued in favor of the Terra Madre Americas festival, scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 26-28.
This year’s courses:
Ash Crusted Albacore: Heirloom bean succotash, smoked mussels and clams, California seaweed salad, furikake cracker
Blue Corn Rabbit Tamal: Mole negra, Mole Blanco, pinenut sikil pak, aji Amarillo, grilled summer vegetables
Braised California Bison: Acorn polenta, chestnut mushroom bisque, wild rice, pickled blackberries, buckwheat frybread
