Selland’s Market-Cafes, OBO’ Italian Table & Bar to reopen for takeout at end of month
After a month off, Selland Family Restaurants is reopening OBO’ Italian Table & Bar and all three Selland’s Market-Cafe locations.
The four restaurants will reopen Thursday for curbside pickup and delivery, according to a Selland Family Restaurants newsletter emailed to subscribers Monday afternoon. Founder Randall Selland confirmed as much in a video posted to YouTube as well.
“We’re excited, exuberant, over-the-top, however you want to put it, to be reopening all three Selland’s along with OBO’ this Thursday, April 30,” Selland said in the video.
Selland Family Restaurants temporarily ceased operations at OBO’ and Selland’s Market-Cafes on Broadway, in East Sacramento and in the El Dorado Hills Town Center on March 30, citing employee health concerns. The company closed Ella Dining Room & Bar and The Kitchen in mid-March after dine-in service was shut down statewide to prevent the coronavirus’ spread, but kept its four other restaurants open for takeout and delivery.
Rob Lind of Ella, Kelly McCown of The Kitchen and perhaps Selland himself will occasionally pop in as guest chefs at the restaurants open for takeout, according to the video.
