Bee’s Best poll: Which local restaurant makes Sacramento’s best sandwich?

From workday lunch staples around the Capitol to Little Saigon banh mi shops to deli counters at high-end grocery stores, Sacramento’s ubiquitous food might just be the sandwich. There’s burgers, if you count ‘em. We’ve seen Nashville-style hot chicken sweep between slices of bread and onto menus across the region over the last couple of years. Subs piled high with cold cuts remain an unpretentious, filling meal, a peak on-the-go option for many. With all the sandwich shops across the region, it’s hard to pinpoint the best one. But try.
