Brazilian coffee shop returns to midtown Sacramento with a second location. See where
Two months after it opened a new location in downtown Sacramento, a Brazilian-style coffee shop has expanded with a second spot in the city.
Tupi Coffee’s latest location is now open at 1801 L St. in midtown, the business announced via social media.
That’s the former location of Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates before the confectionery shop moved to J Street. Tupi now neighbors Saigon Alley Kitchen & Bar and Bober Tea & Coffee.
“We are back in Midtown!,” Tupi Coffee said. “We are proud to announce that we have opened a little Tupi at 18th & L st.”
How many times has Brazilian coffee shop moved?
Tupi Coffee originally opened on Arden Way in 2019 before moving to 701 19th St. in Sacramento in 2021.
Tupi Coffee recently relocated its flagship store, reopening its doors downtown at 1901 Eighth St in December. It replaced Insight Coffee Roasters at the spot.
La Costa Cafe, a Latin American coffee shop, took over Tupi Coffee’s former spot on 19th Street.
What’s on the menu at Tupi Coffee?
Tupi Coffee offers Brazilian baked goods, such as rissoles and cheese bread, sandwiches, acai bowls, coffee and tea.
According to its social media accounts, the two locations are also hiring. You can apply online.
The cafe had not returned an email for comment as of Wednesday morning.
