KC Kombucha will close its Oak Park taproom. What’s next for the Sacramento brewer?
KC Kombucha, a popular kombucha brewer in Sacramento’s North Oak Park neighborhood, will close its taproom next month. The company announced Tuesday that its final day of taproom service would be April 19.
The brewer at 3326 Broadway opened its taproom in 2020 and has been a local destination for kombucha enthusiasts seeking non-alcoholic options. The company will continue its brewing operations and shift its focus entirely to wholesale distribution.
“KC Kombucha has always been about crafting the best kombucha for our amazing community, and now we’re moving into a new chapter,” the company wrote in a farewell post on its Facebook page. “Our taproom doors will close after one FINAL POUR on April 19th.”
KC Kombucha has brewed kombucha in Sacramento since 2017. Its signature flavors — including Blueberry Mint, Lemon Lavender, and Pineapple Ginger — will remain available at capital region restaurants and retailers, as well as through its wholesale partners.
KC Kombucha’s current taproom hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
“We’re grateful for everyone who has visited our taproom and supported our journey,” the company said in its post. “This isn’t goodbye — it’s a new way to keep enjoying KC Kombucha.”
