Chick-Fil-A will open its 11th site in the Sacramento region. Here’s where

Popular chicken sandwich chain Chick-Fil-A has another location opening in the Sacramento-area.

According to the company’s website, the fast food restaurant has a new site “coming soon” near El Camino and Watt avenues in Arden Arcade.

“We’re excited to be coming to the Sacramento community and share Chicken Sandwiches, Waffle Potato Fries and more with you,” their website said. An exact date for the opening has not been announced.

The soon-to-come Chick-Fil-A will be located at 2436 Watt Ave. in the Country Club Plaza, which houses Country Club Cinema theaters and Rebounderz, an indoor trampoline and adventure park. The location is on the same intersection as two other chicken-focused restaurants: Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, which opened in December in Country Club Centre on the southwest corner, and Popeyes, which is on the northeast corner.

The new location is currently hiring for positions.

“We’re looking for friendly faces to join our team,” the company website said. “Find out what it’s like to work here and browse our careers.”

Chick-fil-A was founded in 1946 and has since become one of the top 50 national chain restaurants in terms of domestic sales, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.

What’s on the menu?

The fast food establishment has become renowned for its menu that includes its signature chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, grilled chicken wraps, signature salads and side dishes such as waffle fries and macaroni and cheese.

For breakfast, Chick-Fil-A offers a variety of options such as sandwiches served on English muffins and biscuits, berry parfaits and a hash brown and eggs scramble bowl.

Beverage options include iced tea, lemonade, soda and coffee, and dessert options range from milkshakes and ice cream to brownies and cookies.

The new location did not have operation hours listed, but most Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the Sacramento area are open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
