Roseville-based The Trax Taproom & Kitchen is set to open a second location in downtown Lincoln. The new taproom and kitchen will take over operations of the existing beer-and-wine garden site Lincoln Gardens at 400 Lincoln Blvd. within the Lincoln Brand Feeds Shopping Center.

The center is home to a number of local businesses, including restaurants, cafés, and retail shops, including Italian restaurant Buonarroti Ristorante and breakfast eatery Waffle Shop.

Founder Akmal Zedran opened the Roseville restaurant in March 2022, and it’s been a popular spot for its expansive craft-beer list, house cocktails and creative gastropub fare.

The upcoming Lincoln location is expected to follow a similar model, offering an extensive beer selection alongside wine, cocktails, and elevated comfort food. Operators also anticipate hosting regular gatherings and events as part of the venue’s programming.

The new location will open Dec. 15, and will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p..m. Sundays; closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
