Man dies after fight at Arden Arcade fast food restaurant, sheriff says
A man died at a hospital Sunday following a fight at a Jack in the Box restaurant in Arden Arcade, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the fast-food location on the 3500 block of Marconi Avenue after reports of an altercation between two men. The man who died, whose name has not been released, was reportedly injured during the incident and later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital, officials said.
The second man involved in the fight was initially detained but has since been released, authorities said. The Sheriff’s Office did not disclose the circumstances of the altercation or what led to the man’s death.
As of Monday, no arrests had been made. The case remains under investigation, deputies said.
