Amazon will change maintenance contractors for four facilities, including in Sacramento County, affecting hundreds of positions across northern California.

The contractor, Jones Lang LaSalle, or JLL, notified the state last month of the reductions. According to the notice, the change would affect 77 workers at an Amazon facility at 4900 West Elkhorn Blvd. in Sacramento County.

Amazon said in a statement that the company evaluates its vendors regularly, and will make the change “as a result of a recent review.”

The changes take effect June 14, according to the state notices.

The move will also hit workers at Amazon sites at 3923 B Street in Stockton, at 8817 West Kibler Ave. in Visalia, and at 3575 South Orange Ave. in Fresno. In total, 298 positions are affected.

JLL did not respond to a request for comment.
