Family-owned pet supply store to permanently close this summer
Pet Club in Roseville is permanently closing this summer, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice obtained by The Sacramento Bee.
Pet Club, a California-based pet supply store and veterinary clinic, is shutting down its 318 N. Sunrise Blvd. location. The store’s last day will be July 31, the WARN letter reads.
The closure was caused by “unavoidable circumstances,” the WARN letter reads. Pet Club did not respond to a request for comment.
Layoffs begin as of July 18, according to the WARN letter.
The WARN notice also included resources from the Local Workforce Development Board for Pet Club’s laid off employees. The letter provides contacts for job recruiting agencies and information on obtaining CalFresh benefits.
