Granite Bay’s highest-priced sale in 3 years is a home built for sports-car collection
The most expensive home sold in the Sacramento suburb of Granite Bay in the past three years is a 7,800-square-foot residence with a temperature-controlled garage built for exotic sports cars.
The home just west of Folsom Lake, at 9050 Chelshire Esates Way, sold for $5.275 million. The deal closed March 19.
The seller, Jeff Miller, who co-founded the software company ProKarma, housed his $15 million luxury super-car collection of some of the greatest automotive brands in the world — McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Koenigsegg and Pigani — in the garage at the end of the home’s circular driveway.
But the hypercars didn’t stay in the garage.
“I drive them, and I’m out to show people that it’s okay to bring them out and drive them, and it’s better for the car,” Miller told the Sacramento Bee in October when the property first hit the market for nearly $5.995 million. “Cars should not sit. They should be used.”
Mimi Nassif, founder and CEO of Mimi Nassif Luxury Estates, was the listing agent. She and Miller did not return messages seeking comment for this story.
Santa Barbara style
The four-bedroom, seven-bathroom Santa Barbara-style residence, with white stucco walls and a red-tile roof, sits on 2.3 acres. Inside the home, a gourmet chef’s kitchen under a high ceiling is designed with two massive islands, a glass refrigerated wine cellar, top-of-the-line appliances and a secondary kitchen.
The expansive, well-lit family room overlooks a resort-style backyard with an expansive covered patio outfitted with motorized phantom screens that can enclose the entire space.
The grounds feature an outdoor kitchen, built-in fireplace, rectangle pool and spa, waterfall, fire pits, dog run, vegetable garden, outdoor shower, bocce ball court and horseshoe pit.
There are four ensuite bedrooms, a gym, an office, a meeting room, a recreation room with a bar and a comfortable place to play poker between the two immaculate garages.
The Chelshire Estates Way property just tops the sale price for a Granite Bay home that sold in December 2024 for $5.25 million, after originally listing for about $6.3 million.
Another Granite Bay estate, at 4869 Cavitt Ranch, was purchased in June 2022 for $6.15 million after originally listing for $6.98 million.
