Did you win the lottery? Lucky player wins huge prize in California game
More money than most people can imagine is sitting unclaimed in California because a lottery winner hasn’t come to claim his or her prize.
A lottery player who purchased a ticket in National City, California, hasn’t claimed $28 million, according to Fox 5.
“We will not know the identity of the winner until he or she claims their prize,” lottery officials told KGTV. “The ticket must then be verified by the California Lottery.”
The SuperLotto Plus ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven and matched every winning number after Saturday’s draw, according to Fox 5.
The numbers were 3, 9, 23, 27, 35 and the Mega number was 16, according to Times of San Diego.
“The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 41,416,353,” the news outlet reported.
The winner has 180 days to claim the lottery prize, according to KGTV.
