Video: Girl, 13, crashes parents’ Tesla in Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa, California, police said a 13-year-old girl took her parents’ Tesla without permission and crashed the electric vehicle into several parked vehicles and a utility pole early Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the crash near 729 King St. at about 4:35 a.m.

“Three juveniles were contacted at the collision scene,” police said in a news release. “Miraculously, all had only minor injuries and were out of the Tesla and walking.”

The underage driver crashed after losing control of the Tesla when the vehicle hit a dip in the road.
