A gambler hit a record-setting $700,503 progressive jackpot on a Sky River Casino table game, casino officials said.

The visitor won the jackpot on a BSX Triple Diamond Progressive table game, which sets up a growing jackpot across multiple table games, the casino said.

The payout is the highest BSX Triple Diamond Progressive win in the casino’s history.

“This jackpot is a tremendous milestone for Sky River and an unforgettable moment in the property’s early history,” said Michael J. Facenda, president and general manager of Sky River Casino.

The casino, which opened in 2022, spans 100,000 square feet with more than 2,100 slot machines and more than 80 table games. It has 18 restaurants and bars.

Owned by the Wilton Rancheria in partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation, the casino is located at 1 Sky River Parkway in Elk Grove. It’s about 15 miles southeast of downtown Sacramento.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
