Player hits ‘memorable’ jackpot on 5-cent slot machine at Sacramento-area casino
A gambler at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Sacramento hit a $125,631 progressive jackpot on a $5 bet on a 5-cent slot machine, casino officials reported.
The Costa Mesa player won the progressive jackpot on a Dragon Link-Autumn Moon machine on Sunday, April 5, the casino said in a Facebook post.
“We are thrilled to congratulate our visitor from Southern California on a jackpot over the holiday weekend,” explained Mark Birtha, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. “We certainly hope it made for a memorable visit to Northern California!”
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Fire Mountain is at 3317 Forty Mile Road in Wheatland, about 35 miles north of downtown Sacramento.
