Player hits ‘memorable’ poker jackpot on $5 side bet at Sacramento-area casino
A gambler at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Sacramento hit a $218,185 progressive jackpot on a $5 side bet on a poker game, casino officials reported.
The Marysville player won a three-card poker jackpot with an ace, king and queen of spades at 2 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, on a side bet, the casino said.
“We are thrilled to congratulate Cheryl from right here in Marysville on her lucky jackpot to close out the lucky month of March in a big way,” said Mark Birtha, president of the casino. “We certainly hope it made for a memorable visit!”
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Fire Mountain is at 3317 Forty Mile Road in Wheatland, a little more than 30 miles north of downtown Sacramento.
