Two players hit six-figure jackpots within minutes at Sacramento casino

Two gamblers at Thunder Valley Casino Resort near Sacramento won six-figure progressive jackpots within minutes of each other while playing a “Face Up Pai Gow” table game, casino officials reported.

The players each hit the rare five aces, the highest-ranking five-card hand in the game, earning a combined $261,000 in jackpot payouts, on Friday, June 26.

Just moments later, a second player matched the feat, winning $126,000, including a $4,000 fortune bonus.

“It’s not every day we celebrate a Five Aces jackpot, let alone two,” said Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “We are thrilled for our two lucky winners. What a great start to their weekend.”
