Player hits ‘incredible’ six-figure jackpot on table game at Sacramento casino

A gambler at Thunder Valley Casino Resort near Sacramento won a $140,361 progressive jackpot while playing a “Face Up Pai Gow” table game, casino officials reported.

The win unfolded Friday night, the casino said.

“One of the things that makes Thunder Valley special is that big wins can happen anywhere on our gaming floor,” said Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “Congratulations to our lucky guest on an incredible win. It’s always exciting to see a moment like this unfold.”

Thunder Valley Casino Resort at 1200 Athens Ave. in Lincoln has 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games. It is about 35 miles northeast of Sacramento.
