More than 2,000 SMUD customers temporarily without power in Florin
Over 2,000 SMUD customers were without power in Florin Friday morning after a week of stormy weather.
The number of customers affected was initially reported as 2,921 just after 5 a.m. but had dropped to zero just after 6:30 a.m.
SMUD is still assessing the cause of the outage.
