A candlelight vigil is planned at 8 p.m. Sunday for Jadianna Larsen, whose body was found Thursday.

The boyfriend of Jadianna’s mother is being charged with killing the child.

The vigil is set for McClatchy Park near the playground, according to Jessie Ryan, a Sacramento City Unified School District trustee. Ryan on Sunday wrote in a news release, “Our community is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of this little girl.”

“The Oak Park Community will be joined by Jadianna’s school community at Bowling Green (school, where Jadianna attended) to offer their love and share in grief over this little angel’s tragic passing,” Ryan wrote.

McClatchy Park is in the Oak Park neighborhood, between 5th and 6th avenues and between 33rd and 37th streets.
