Authorities identify woman killed in Feb. 2 hit-and-run in south Sacramento
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the bicyclist killed in a Feb. 2 hit-and-run in the Meadowview area as 38-year-old Jerrameka Colbert.
Colbert was cycling near 24th Street and Florin Road when she was struck by a small white or silver sedan shortly before 10:30 p.m.
The driver fled the scene of the collision and police are investigating.
Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run is asked to call the Sacramento Police Department dispatch at 916-264-5471 or the Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-4357. Tips can also be submitted confidentially through the P3 Tips website and app. There is a reward of up to $1,000.
