I-5 reopens after fatal crash near Florin Road, CHP says

Interstate 5 has reopened following a fatal crash late Wednesday near the Pocket area of Sacramento, authorities said.

The collision occurred on northbound I-5 near Florin Road, the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento office said in social media posts around 11:30 p.m.

No other details about the crash were released.

All northbound lanes were closed until about 1:20 a.m., the CHP said.
