Authorities looking for Sacramento County teen who went missing three weeks ago

Authorities in Sacramento County on Tuesday asked the public to help find a 15-year-old Rancho Cordova boy who has been missing for the past three weeks.

Michael Ramirez was last seen about 8:30 a.m. on May 18 leaving his home in the area of Tiffany West Way in Rancho Cordova, according to a missing person flyer posted by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s officials described the missing teen who stands about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. They also said he was last seen wearing a black leather jack with a striped, dark shirt and jeans.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children also circulated a missing person flyer Tuesday afternoon, asking for help in finding the missing Rancho Cordova teen. The flyer was sent to local news media outlets in the region.

Sheriff’s officials asked anyone with information about the teen’s disappearance to call the Sheriff’s Office 916-874-5115. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children also asked those with information to call the toll free number 1-800-843-5678.
