Military deals on Veterans Day: Here’s what national chains in California are offering
Veterans Day is this Thursday and many restaurants nationwide are serving up free meals to honor former and active members of the military.
Here is a list of some of the chains offering deals on Veterans Day in California — and nationwide:
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
Former and current military personnel that dine-in at a BJ’s Restaurant on Veterans Day can get a complementary meal from this menu and a Dr. Pepper. To redeem this deal, you’ll need to show proof of service or a military ID.
California Pizza Kitchen
California Pizza Kitchen is offering a free entree and beverage for veterans and active U.S. military on Veterans Day.
Individuals can choose from the restaurant’s special holiday menu, which includes pizza, pasta and full-sized salads.
The restaurant will also give out buy-one-get-one-free discount cards to veterans, which are redeemable from Nov. 12 through the Nov. 20, according to Business Wire.
Chili’s
Veterans can enjoy a free meal from a select menu at Chili’s on Thursday when they dine-in at the restaurant.
Denny’s
On Nov. 11, Denny’s is offering veterans a free Build-Your-Own Grand Slam. This customizable meal includes more 10 choices, such as pancakes, biscuits and bacon.
This deal is dine-in only and is available from 5 a.m. to noon at participating restaurants. Don’t forget your military ID.
IHOP
The pancake house will be serving a free stack of their Red, White and Blue pancakes on Thursday for veterans. The sweet breakfast plate includes three pancakes, strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream.
Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ
Lucille’s Smokehouse is serving up free pulled pork sandwiches and one side dish for active duty military and veterans on Thursday. This deal is available for dine-in and takeout phone orders.
Proof of service is required.
Starbucks
Starbucks is offering a free 12-ounce hot coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses on Veterans Day.
Dunkin
Dunkin is giving veterans and active military personnel a free doughnut of their choice on Thursday. You don’t need to make a purchase or show ID to redeem the deal.
