What makes your Sacramento neighborhood special? Help us build a guide for newbies

What do you love about your Sacramento neighborhood? Is there anything newcomers should know before moving in?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sacramento experienced the largest migration turnaround per capita compared to the 30 largest metro areas in the country. And those new to the capital city could benefit from a local’s perspective.

As part of its effort to build a guide for Sacramento newbies, The Bee wants to hear from locals about the best, most unique aspects of their neighborhoods.

In October, we asked locals to share their insights on the city as a whole. Now, we’re narrowing in on individual parts of the city.

Do you like that you are in walking distance to everything or that your neighborhood is filled with bike lanes?

What’s your favorite midtown restaurant? The best park in East Sacramento? What do you do for fun in Natomas? Whatever it is, and no matter how long you’ve lived there, The Bee wants to know what makes your neighborhood special. Tell us in the forum below or email utilityteam@sacbee.com.

An editor or reporter will reach out to you for permission if we’d like to use direct quotes or names.
