California authorities issue alert for missing disabled man, 81, last seen in Sutter County

The California Highway Patrol issued a silver alert Thursday as authorities search for an elderly man who has gone missing in Northern California.

The CHP issued the bulletin on behalf of the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, who said Ronald Reavis, 81, disappeared after last being seen around 11 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies say Reavis was last seen on Madrone Street in Sutter County with his 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt compact sedan, which is white and has the California disabled license plate DPW1373.

Reavis, 81, was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, according to a social media post by the CHP.

The alert includes Colusa, Butte and Glenn counties.

Authorities urge anyone who has seen Reavis to call 911.
