What is the spookiest thing to do in Sacramento?
For nearly one year, I’ve been exploring food and entertainment suggestions from Sacramento Bee readers who know this city the best. And I do it all on a $25 budget.
Last month I visited a Lao market for pad Thai and Thai tea. In August, I tried shaved ice and mochi from a family business with ties to old Japantown. Last spring, a reader recommended I watch a movie the old fashioned way at the only drive-in in the area.
As the leaves start to change colors and the air begins to crisp, I’m in search of the best Halloween and fall-inspired activities for me and my family.
Is there a haunted house you visit every year? How about a pumpkin patch that yields the best picks? I’ll even check out a spooky inspired cocktail at your favorite bar in town.
Whatever it is, big or small, let me hear it.
The goal is the same. I’m discovering Sacramento through your favorite affordable activities.
