Uniqlo sets opening dates for 2 new Sacramento-area clothing stores. What to know
Popular Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo will open its first two stores in the Sacramento region just in time for fall.
Both locations will feature special deals and giveaways for shoppers when they open, the global retailer wrote in a news release.
“These store openings are part of Uniqlo’s continued growth in North America,” Uniqlo said, adding that California and Texas have led the charge on the brand’s “investment in brick-and-mortar retail.”
“This expansion follows a period of significant growth during the 2023 fiscal year,” Uniqlo representatives said, with more than 20 new locations planned for this year.
What is Uniqlo?
Described as a brand that remains close to its Japanese roots, Uniqlo specializes in “simple, high-quality, everyday clothing designed with life’s needs in mind,” the company said in the release.
Uniqlo said its clothing concept, LifeWear, was created for customers searching for the “simplest design hiding the most thoughtful and modern details.”
The clothing retailer sells accessories, shirts, pants, skirts, dresses and outerwear such as jackets and blazers.
Apparel for men, women, children and babies is available.
“Both Sacramento locations will span 8,895 square feet,” the company said in its release.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled on opening day to celebrate the brand’s first location in the state capital.
“Both Sacramento locations will span 8,895 square feet,” the company said in its release.
