Late-night restaurant opens in Sacramento with bulgogi pizza, kimchi burgers. Where is it?

A new late-night restaurant quietly opened its doors in downtown Sacramento with unique food combinations and happy hour.

Burgers, Pizza + More — BPM for short — is at 1020 K St., a space that formerly housed popular pizzeria Pizza Rock, according to business review site Yelp.

As of Wednesday morning, the restaurant was not listed on Google Maps.

BPM launched its soft opening period on Aug. 12, but has yet to set the date for its official grand opening, a restaurant representative told The Sacramento Bee via phone Wednesday morning.

An owner wasn’t available to comment at the time.

What is Burgers, Pizza + More?

BPM adversities itself as a “family-friendly hotspot” serving up a fusion of American, Italian and Korean cuisine.

“From classic wood-fired pizzas to mouthwatering one-of-a kind burgers and cheesesteaks, BPM offers a truly unique culinary experience,” the restaurant wrote on Yelp.

What’s on the menu at new restaurant in midtown Sacramento?

BPM’s menu features chicken wings, fries, soups and salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza and pasta, according to its menu.

Regular entrees range from a Caesar salad tossed with Korean miso dressing for about $13 to pizzas topped with ingredients such as beef bulgogi, enoki mushrooms and glass noodle stirfry for $24 each.

Customers can pair a kimchi tofu burger or cheesesteak sandwich with spicy pork, grilled onions and white American cheese with a wood-fired pizza topped with pear, blue cheese and spicy honey, according to Yelp.

After 10 p.m., pizza is sold by the slice, the restaurant wrote on its site.

The eatery also offers alcoholic beverages, appetizers and desserts such as banana spring rolls, Korean-style candied sweet potato and tiramisu.

Locals react to opening of K Street eatery

Locals reacted to the restaurant’s opening on social media, sharing anecdotes about their experiences.

“One of the best new restaurants to open up in the Sacramento area,” Yelp user Chloe L. wrote in a recent review, adding that BPM has “fantastic wood fired pizzas, great ambiance, (and) lovely service.

Yelp user Byran W. said BPM offers the best pizza in Sacramento, noting that he “can’t say enough nice things about this place” and people should “stop in and stick around.”

Another Yelp user, Anuthida C., described BPM’s food as “amazing and truly one of a kind.”

“This place just opened up and nobody knows that it is open yet because you can’t find them on Google yet!” the reviewer wrote. “But if you get a chance to visit, you will experience some of the best foods you cannot find anywhere else.”

When is happy hour at late-night restaurant?

BPM has two happy hour windows, one from 2 to 6 p.m. and another from 10 p.m. to midnight, according to its site.

Drink options include cider, beer, scotch, tequila, vodka and whiskey.

What are open hours?

BPM is open seven days a week, a restaurant representative confirmed Wednesday morning via phone.

Business hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
