Reported shooting on downtown Sacramento freeway under investigation by CHP

Traffic reopened on Interstate 5 through downtown Sacramento Friday after reports of a shooting earlier Friday morning.

No one was injured. It was not immediately known when the shooting occurred, but California Highway Patrol officers closed the stretch of freeway for a time Friday morning to allow investigators to comb the scene.
