‘Life-threatening injuries’ as Sacramento County crash sends 2 to hospital, authorities say

Authorities responded to a three-vehicle crash in Antelope on Thursday afternoon that seriously injured two people, Sacramento County fire officials said.

Two people were transported to the hospital with “life-threatening injuries,” said Battalion Chief Parker Wilbourn, a Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District spokesperson.

The crash was reported around 1:50 p.m. near Antelope and Roseville roads in Sacramento County, Metro Fire said.

The two injured occupants had to be extricated from their vehicle, Metro Fire stated.

The cause of the accident is unclear at this time.
